Did you know that with PassagePoint's "control center" module, it is possible to create multiple directory link sources and search through all directory link sources when performing a search?
Tech Tip of the Month
You can automatically have PassagePoint's kiosk auto launch when a machine is started. In the event of power failure or when a restart is necessary, PassagePoint's kiosk will auto launch without any user intervention.
See instructions below:
Add an environment variable on the client machine named "PP_KIOSKAUTOSTART" with the value of the kiosk login.
Start->Control Panel->System->See screenshot.
Add PPClient shortcut to the windows Startup.
Start->All programs->startup.
Set windows to auto login as the windows user that the PPClient shortcut was added to.
