Atlanta, GA (September 15, 2008) – STOPware Inc. is making it easier than ever for security and facility management to incorporate sophisticated, enterprise-level visitor management solutions with their PassagePoint® Global v10 software, on display here at  ASIS 2008.  Previewed to the market in the spring of 2008 and now available, PassagePoint Global v10 is designed to seamlessly integrate with security and business systems and features advanced functionality and integration capabilities that set new benchmarks for performance and scalability.

The powerful and versatile new software offers the ability to control operations from a centralized location, customize screens and lists, and implement the solution in English, French, German, Japanese or Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and more – out of the box. 

PassagePoint Global v10 also offers integration with IT infrastructure to link to any ODBC or LDAP directory systems, as well as the capability to create a directory of hosts, integrate with an Active Directory, or even use the employee directory for a single sign-on.  To streamline the pre-registration process even more, PassagePoint Global v10 can be integrated with Microsoft Outlook calendars as well as with vCard software programs.

The software is compatible with most major access control manufacturers and can accommodate biometric scanners and readers to allow repeat visitors to easily sign in.  The system can also use an ID scanner to speed up the registration process with the unique ability to send an email with the visitor’s photo to the host upon sign in.  Customized mass notifications for informational or emergency purposes are also possible.

Key features include:

1. Versatile e-mail capabilities including Notifier,enabling e-mail to user defined categories of people from an e-mail database, e-mail to everyone at a specific location, and e-mail of scheduled vCalendar Outlook appointments to visitors and hosts when a Visit Pre-Registration is created.
2. The Control Center function helps manage logistics from a single location with the ability to isolate and view only information that is pertinent to each specific location. In addition, any data entry screen can be customized by adding custom fields, designating fields as “required” for entry, re-labeling names of fields, and displaying fields as needed. PassagePoint Global v10 also can do live background checks against an Internet database when entering a visitor’s name or scanning their license.
3. A Type Ahead feature helps avoid duplicate entries and saves time with repeat visitors. A kiosk configuration is ideal for high-traffic or unmanned lobbies. Web pre-registration helps avoid visitor management bottlenecks.
4. PassagePoint Global v10 also allows registration of visitors and activation of their access rights with an Access Control System (ACS). 

PassagePoint Mobile (optional add on) allows the user to pre-register visitors, sign visitors in and out, and record checkpoint transactions.
